About Us

We aim to advance education in the arts and to provide facilities in the interests of social and cultural welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation. We use Drama, Music, other performing arts and the arts generally, for the benefit of those people who do not usually participate in or have access to the arts, including those people on the margins of society.

Our 2016 Project

A Cargo of Curiosities

A pop-up museum based at the Grade II* listed Alkrington Hall East in Manchester which housed the 18th century Leverian collection. On the 250th anniversary of its foundation the house was reopened to the public (for the first & last time since the original museum closed - the hall is to be sold by the current owners in 2017) to host a community-based project examining the human impulse to collect.
